Minnesota Thunder Copa Minnesota Practice Report
By Brian Quarstad and Paul Demko
On Thursday, November 8th, Paul Demko and I visited the Minnesota Thunder in a training session at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome as the team prepared for the first ever Copa Minnesota.

The Thunder will take on the Los Angles Galaxy of Major League Soccer on Sunday the 11th. Of course the big draw for most fans will be David Beckham, who moved to the Galaxy in mid-season. But the Galaxy have many big names on the squad, such as U.S. Soccer poster boy Landon Donovan as well as Cobi Jones. Cobi announced his retirement after many years of play with both MLS and even more years with the U.S. Soccer National team. Cobi will be playing his last game as a professional player in the U.S. when he steps out onto the Metrodome turf.

Paul and I were able to get some interviews with a few of the players to check in with them about the preparation for the Copa Minnesota game as well as their fitness and the chemistry of all the new players on the squad.

First, this link for an audio report of Copa Minnesota and the Thunder's anticipation of the game.

Then some individual interviews that Paul and I conducted. First, Aaron Paye and his fitness level after a long bout of injuries during the summer.

Then, we talked to Jeremiah Bass about his mixing of work and play, along with his views of practice and the new squad that is coming together for this game.

We also had a chance to visit with the Thunder's newest player Dayton O'Brien, who was just traded the Atlanta Silverbacks for Ansu Toure.

Lastly, we visit with an old friend who was called back to play on his former team, crowd favorite Johnny Menyongar.

I am looking for crime/drama video games like those. Cause I rcetnely got into that genre and I am impressed by its story lines. I want something with a good story line, something that keeps you guessing till the end and is rated M preferably. I already know about Grand Theft Auto. I got those anyway and played them over a hundred times. Anyway, looking for something where you play as a cop solving crimes. So if you got anything, let me know. Oh, and PS3 only as well.
